I have to replace the batteries every 3 weeks now. At the beginning, about 6 months ago, it worked fine. For the last 2 months, batteries have to be changed every 3 weeks. Going to try and find my receipt and return the unit. I liked it fine until it started draining batteries. And the display is very light. The unit is not in direct sunlight in my home. Defect.

I have to change the batteries every 3 weeks. It barely gets past the 14 day "learning mode" that helps predict the weather. Other units like this from other manufacture seem to go for years on a set of batteries. This is a piece of junk. I am on here shopping for something to replace it, and will not buy anything from this manufacturer.

My unit lasted about 8 months then it went haywire. I put in fresh batteries. Still didn't work. I called the cust. service # and was told not to use alkaline plus or super alkaline batteries because they have to much power. I said the owners manual does not say that and to me that is a design flaw. They will not honor the one year
garauntee becase I can't find my original sales slip. I rate this unit a DO NOT BUY.
